The weekend of February 28 through March 1, 2026, will forever be etched in the annals of European dog grooming. During SwissGroom 2026, the city buzzed with the sound of scissors and a passion for dogs. For Diamex, it wasn’t just a competition—it was a true showcase of strength and expertise.
The partnership between Team Diamex, our Ambassadors, and GroomTeam The Netherlands achieved the impossible: a 100% success rate. Every participant walked away with a trophy, proving that excellence knows no bounds. Here’s a look back at that dream weekend where perfection was the only acceptable standard.
Allison Cabibbo and Adèle Picaut: two sensational new additions to the Diamex team!
It was one of the most anticipated moments of the competition: the first official appearance ofAllison Cabibbo andAdèle Picaut as Diamex Ambassadors. Wearing a brand’s colors for the first time is always a challenge that combines pressure and excitement, but our two new recruits turned this debut into a true triumph.
Adèle Picaut literally electrified the ring with her versatility and energy. By taking first place in the Toy & Miniature Poodle Open class as well as first place in the Handstripping Open class, she demonstrated rare technical mastery, switching from one coat type to another with disconcerting ease. Her overall performance earned her the prestigious ALL AROUND award, recognizing the best groomer across all categories in the Open class. A collaboration that couldn’t have gotten off to a more spectacular start!
Allison Cabibbo, for her part, proved that she belongs among the world’s elite. Competing in the most competitive categories, she demonstrated surgical precision and exceptional artistic vision. She took first place in the Pure Breed Champion class and a magnificent second place in the Standard Poodle Champion class. For her first show under the Diamex banner, Allison set the bar extremely high, confirming her status as a leader in the field.
GroomTeam the Netherlands: Dutch excellence at the top!
The partnership between Diamex and GroomTeam The Netherlands continues to bear fruit, and the results in Switzerland are a testament to the exceptional quality of these groomers.
Annelies Honkoop-van Ommen was the star of the weekend. By winning first place in the Standard Poodle Champion class, she qualified for the ultimate title. Before an international judging panel impressed by the fluidity of her lines and the perfection of her “finish,” she was crowned BEST IN SHOW. This is the supreme honor, recognizing the best work of the entire SwissGroom competition. This victory underscores her extraordinary talent and her total dedication to her craft.
Alongside her, Natasja Ekkelkamp also flew the Dutch flag high with a masterful performance. Her technique in the Pure Breed Open class earned her first place. Her ability to adhere to conformation standards while bringing out the best in her dog won unanimous praise. Together, Annelies and Natasja demonstrated that the GroomTeam NL’s dedication and passion are an unstoppable force.
Molly Taminiaux: the backbone of the Diamex Team!
At the heart of this army of champions, Molly Taminiaux, an iconic representative of Team Diamex, has once again demonstrated her consistency and incredible talent. Molly is a competitor at heart, capable of turning every ring into a showcase of her skill.
Competing in the highly competitive Standard Poodle Open category, she managed to overcome the stress and expectations to deliver a performance of absolute elegance. Her technical precision and dedication to a job well done earned her a well-deserved first-place finish. Molly continues to be a source of inspiration for the entire team, combining humility, hard work, and an expertise in Poodles that continues to grow with each competition.
