On the weekend of May 8, 9, and 10, 2026, the city of Prague became the global epicenter of dog grooming during the prestigious GrooMasters competition. In an electric atmosphere where precision meets artistry, two exceptional talents from GroomTeam the Netherlands flew the flag for excellence: Nike Elbertsen and Diana Nab.
Nike Elbertsen’s historic achievement!
If there’s one name that still resonates, it’s Nike Elbertsen. Having come to compete among the best, Nike didn’t just participate—she dominated the competition in spectacular fashion.
With exceptional technical skill and rare talent, Nike swept the weekend’s most coveted awards:
- 🏆 Best in Show: The ultimate accolade, awarded to the best groomer in the entire competition.
- 🏆 All-Around Winner: A title that recognizes versatility and consistency throughout the competition.
But the medal haul didn’t stop there. Nike proved itself to be a true master in several demanding disciplines:
- 🥇 1st place in the Handstripping Champion Class
- 🥈 2nd place in the Poodle Champion Class
- 🥈 2nd place in the Spaniel & Setter Champion Class

The success of this trip to Prague is a team victory. Diana Nab also stood out for her skill and determination. Competing in the highly competitive Standard Poodle Open category, Diana won over the judges with her flawless grooming and professionalism.
